Speaker 1:

Hey going bianca uh good, how are you recovering?

Speaker 2:

I'm doing better. I had a doctor's appointment today and I got four more appointments when I left so things might be going backwards.

Speaker 1:

I'm not sure um, but I'm recording, I'm back I'm working on my tiktok again so the brain is, the brain is functioning. Oh shit, what the fuck did I say?

Speaker 2:

say I'm doing a little better.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, yeah.

Speaker 2:

So I can still get better, and I will, I hope, but Eventually. I'm not as bad as I was.

Speaker 1:

Right, right right.

Speaker 2:

So, having said all of that, what are we talking about today?

Speaker 1:

Have you been on TikTok lately?

Speaker 2:

I have been on TikTok. It's funny that you ask but have you?

Speaker 1:

seen. No, no, yeah. Like I know you're on TikTok, like I know you guys also, like our followers should follow, if they're not following Celaco956, right.

Speaker 2:

Uh-oh.

Speaker 1:

The thing is that I was going through TikTok and then there's this guy Mm-hmm. The thing is that I was going through TikTok, and then there's this guy and he's just talking about, like, how he knows that his grandfather was the Zodiac killer.

Speaker 2:

Right. So, having done serial killers already, and that being in our kind of realm right of the show, I wanted to do the zodiac killer from the beginning, but but it was kind of any like evidence on like it might be this guy.

Speaker 2:

It might be this guy, but right, it's an old story that I do feel like a lot of our fans would already know, so I was kind of reluctant yeah, because I mean all the evidence that we have and we still haven't gotten a name or a person like pinned down, like you know what?

Speaker 2:

it's a 80 20 chance, right that it's him right, and so this guy just he's pretty sure of himself yeah and so, for those of you who haven't watched tiktok or aren't on tiktok, the handle of the guy is jfoy 3.0, and so we're going to start with that story, because it kind of loses some air at the end. Yeah, um, so we're going to go into that and then we're going to recap for anybody who doesn't know the details of the story, like the history that was made Right right right. So, like I said, this kid, he's a kid to me.

Speaker 1:

He's about your fucking age. Chill, the fuck out.

Speaker 2:

So he's not a child, but he is saying.

Speaker 1:

Let's just say he's older than me and younger than David.

Speaker 2:

I think that's accurate.

Speaker 1:

I think that's the best way to say it. That's a pinpoint right there.

Speaker 2:

And he has his hat backwards and so he gives me kid vibes he's giving me.

Speaker 1:

Teenager want to be vibes Right, and I'm not a teenager Right.

Speaker 2:

He does look older than you, though.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, okay.

Speaker 2:

Okay, so he is saying, and he's pretty adamant, that his grandfather, richard Hoffman, is the Zodiac and he has this long playlist of him in a car talking about this, and so we're going to kind of save you some time.

Speaker 1:

Yeah.

Speaker 2:

And go through what he says.

Speaker 1:

I mean TikTok is not that long, but yeah.

Speaker 2:

It's like 15 episodes, 15 videos on this. And there's not a lot of information, but I did the work, you chopped it down, chopped it down, and so this is what he's saying. So Richard Hoffman, his grandfather, was a police officer for the Vallejo Police Department, which is where these murders were happening.

Speaker 2:

And so his quote unquote evidence is that the handwriting is similar. Right, the misspelling. Right, the Zodiac spelt until with two l's. Yeah, and his grandfather did the same thing. Um, his grandfather also has a reputation of being abusive, right? Um, there are clips, because his grandfather was involved. He was a TikToker Well, he was on the news at the time. That would be funny, but there's videos of his grandfather talking about the Zodiac Killer, right, and it's a little just surreal. He doesn't seem like a cop, he seems like he's just a little off. It's weird because I I don't know if they don't tell you which scene he's describing, right, but it's one of the scenes he's he's with one of the victims that they're trying to revive, and I think it must be the victim that he stabbed.

Speaker 1:

That the Zodiac Killer stabbed Right.

Speaker 2:

the Zodiac Killer stabbed, and so, while they're ventilating them, air is coming out of the holes in their body. And he's describing in a very weird way the air coming out of her body and playing with her bra a little bit, like the wind is fluttering her bra, what? And it's just kind of weird, like it just seems like a weird observation. And then, even if I did see that I don't know if that's what I'm saying to the news or whoever was recording it just seems a little weird. You know what I mean.

Speaker 1:

Yeah.

Speaker 2:

And then his description is similar I mean he's a white guy, so he looks a little bit like the way that they talk about the Zodiac Killer.

Speaker 1:

Right.

Speaker 2:

Rumor has it that one of the victims she didn't die right away, she died like five days later said his name was richard. So she knew who he was, and this guy's named richard hoffman, yeah, and so there's there's quite a few things kind of pointing to him wasn't there one like theory between cops that well, between like investigators, that supposedly the killer could have been a cop. Right, right, right, right, yeah, so it was a little bit too hard for the cops to catch him.

Speaker 2:

Right when they thought he must have inside information or something like that. So, having doing some research on this episode and I'm just going to put a bow on this part of it Four episodes in or four videos in, I guess netflix or somebody contacts this guy on tiktok, and so now he can't really talk about anything, and so now we have we're just 10 videos about my new movie deal, you know, and I'm writing a movie, you know, so it's kind of like this isn't what we want.

Speaker 2:

I mean, I'm gonna watch some of you when it comes out, but yeah, we're gonna support him but it was kind of like I mean 15 videos he had to get money out of it yeah, it wasn't just gonna be on.

Speaker 2:

Tiktok would pay, but he got flix is gonna pay more shit right, right right right and on the spot and you pay me whatever, I won't say shit and he goes into detail about his own life and he's a film major like he went to school for film, so this is right up his alley as a person right just for me right now on tiktok, I want to know about the zodiac, so I don't give a shit about these other episodes, but that's how we came up about talking about it.

Speaker 1:

That's how it came out today, and so now we're going to go backwards, we're just going to wait for the movie guys See ya, no, anyway.

Speaker 2:

so now going backwards, I start looking up things right and I look up Richard Hoffman, right the name of this guy, up things right, and I look up richard hoffman, right the name of this guy turns out years ago, before this tiktok kid came out. He's that kid. Okay, a person came out right people had gotten a partial dna match from when he licked the stamps on the letters that he mailed no and they had drawn a line to richard hoffman already so he was a suspect he was already a suspect years ago and, by the way, richard hoffman died in 2020 what the fuck yeah, so it the one of the questions for me and has always been, before I knew any of this.

Speaker 2:

Why did he stop? You know what I mean His grandkid, huh.

Speaker 1:

His grandkid. Oh no, that's true. No, the grandkid said that he has memories of whenever. I think one time he left the house. I don't know some shit like that.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, he has a bunch of weird stories.

Speaker 1:

He has a bunch of videos like saying like the time frames and all that, and he remembers everything like clearly, yeah, which I don't know.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, so Richard Hoffman was already a suspect.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, back in the day.

Speaker 2:

Before this guy figured it out and started making the videos.

Speaker 1:

Yeah. So I think if netflix is involved it's kind of like a little bit of it's gonna like open the case like well, I don't think it ever is it considered a cold case. Was it closed? What the fuck?

Speaker 2:

I'm not sure and I'm gonna, I'm gonna go in are people from cameron county, or where the fuck was this? This was not in cameron county. This is a little bit down the road, down the road in vallejo, california yeah, there so pretty sure you got people that you know over there back in the day. So when I was younger I had a book original. The first book that I got was called hunting humans and it was an encyclopedia of serial killers, and so that was kind of my introduction.

Speaker 1:

Into serial killing. Into serial killing. How's it going so far? And then the next book that I read was a Zodiac Killer. Wait, let's skip this question. Yeah, what the fuck was that? Allegedly Allegedly, it's been doing okay.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, Allegedly I'm not a serial killer.

Speaker 1:

Right.

Speaker 2:

So in this book called Zodiac, and there's a movie based on this book.

Speaker 2:

There is a guy called Arthur Lee Allen that is kind of put front and center as the main suspect, Right, and so for years and years and years, before this Richard Hoffman name became so prominent, this was the main killer or the main suspect. Now, this guy, Arthur Lee Allen, was a teacher I think he worked in a school and he was convicted of child molestation and so like. The evidence that kind of links him is the drawings, which were kind of generic.

Speaker 2:

If we're honest, he did look like that yeah he was the same height, the same build, he looked very similar, his writing was also very similar and he had a zodiac watch, which was what one of the victims said the guy was wearing. Okay, and so there was a lot of things pointing to this In the book. If I remember correctly, they even said the Zodiac was in two different cars depending on the murders, and this guy had the same two cars.

Speaker 2:

So it looked like it was him, yeah Right. Like it was him, yeah right. So fast forward to like 2020 around more recently so that guy actually died in the 90s, if I'm right okay, yeah, yeah so I think it's 2020, ish one of the ciphers. So so well, let's go back a little bit.

Speaker 1:

So we can go forward or we go backwards.

Speaker 2:

We can know the, what the this guy does, right, okay, and so, um, on december 20th, um, two people were killed there as like a lover's lane, right, right, and he just shoots them Right, and it's very evident at least as an amateur sleuth that I am that this guy hates women.

Speaker 1:

Right.

Speaker 2:

Because he shoots the women way more than he shoots the guys Right. And then in one of the cases at least one of the cases where one of them survives, it's always the guy. Yeah, the girl gets it Like he's there for the girl yeah right, and so he kills these two people. Um then on july 4th he kills kind of the same situation, right where he's just going to these lover lanes and kind of I think when they're making out like he, it like bothers him, right that sure there's these loose women out there that, that aren't.

Speaker 2:

Aren't giving him any is what I think right.

Speaker 1:

That's what I think he's doing but he could just ask to join.

Speaker 2:

Like what the fuck yeah but I'm sure, I'm sure he has like a lot.

Speaker 1:

What if he was asking to join and they told him like no, then okay, that would be a reason to get mad, I guess, but to shoot someone?

Speaker 2:

Well, some of them survive, and so we know he just walks up and just shoots.

Speaker 1:

That's true.

Speaker 2:

Right, so anyway. So when he kills the next people, yeah, he writes on their door Like what he did and then he like draws a line or puts the name of the other two people right, so like, hey, I'm the same guy who did this don't distract right, yeah.

Speaker 2:

So then a couple months after that he goes to like this park and there's this guy and this girl on like having a picnic in a secluded area, and so I don't know if you ever read the book, um, or it's a short story I think called the a dangerous the day, the most dangerous game no so I read this like when I was like in fifth grade a long time ago, and what it's about is this hunter I didn't ask how long ago, but okay this hunter gets on a shipwreck right and he ends up on this island and there's it's run by another hunter.

Speaker 2:

So the owner of the island gives the guy a knife and says new game, I'm gonna try to kill you. You oh shit, you need to escape from me oh right, like tiger, it right and so they made a movie about this book, and there's a costume that the bad guy wears uh-huh okay, it's like a executioner okay, okay, outfit so the zodiac's wearing this oh.

Speaker 2:

He walks up to this couple that's having a picnic and he says I'm fresh out of prison, I escaped prison, I need your car and your money because I'm going to Mexico. So he tells the guy to tie up the girl. And then he ties up the guy, he tells him to lay on their stomach because he's gonna go and he just immediately starts stabbing the girl, like just killing the shit out of her right, and then he stabs the guy. But the guy survives.

Speaker 2:

He's not there for the guy right, and so this is where they that's the thing.

Speaker 1:

The guy is already like there, you, you have to kill him.

Speaker 2:

You would think, and I wonder because if I went through the whole process of killing, somebody.

Speaker 1:

Yes, that's what I'm saying. You're not going to want someone to be left alive.

Speaker 2:

Right, but hear me out. Why do you think he hates women so much? Because he's incompetent.

Speaker 1:

Oh, that's true.

Speaker 2:

And so what do people that are incompetent usually do, or what's a marker that you know, while they're incompetent, they don't finish the job Right? Right, so we know this Right, so then we fast forward again right fast forward and so let's see, okay, so now. Yeah, this one's a little weird to me. He gets a taxi ride after killing them both. Well, no, this is another, another, another murder, like a next month, less than a month away.

Speaker 1:

Okay.

Speaker 2:

He gets a taxi ride and he kills the taxi driver.

Speaker 1:

Huh.

Speaker 2:

And this time he cuts off part of his clothes, like the bloody shirt. He cuts a square out of it. So part of the reason we know these murders are connected. Number one he put the writing on the door of the car right, right, yeah, after another murder, I think the second murder he calls the murderer in to the police?

Speaker 1:

Yeah, wouldn't he like leave notes and stuff like haunting the police?

Speaker 2:

right, so then he would also. He sent three letters, yeah, to the different newspapers oh yeah, and wanted them to publish what they call a cipher right, these weird symbols for people to figure out have people figure it out, I think there was a tiktok also about that so the first one, a husband and wife teacher yeah, yeah, those yeah figured one of them out, but even more interesting than that is with all of the computer technology. One was recently deciphered.

Speaker 2:

It's called the 408 symbol cipher Right, and it was decrypted by the University of California at Berkeley.

Speaker 1:

OK, shut up. Yeah, we're not getting paid for this.

Speaker 2:

We're not getting paid, but they did it, so I'm going to give them credit. Yeah, I'm going to read you what it says, and so this is a little bit before I read this.

Speaker 1:

I haven't read this shit, Right no? You're going to hear it for the first time, but this is what's so interesting to me about it and you know it took forever for them to figure this out, right, because this all happened in the 60s, late 60s, early 70s like more older than david bro.

Speaker 2:

Yes, way older, way older. Like his last killing, I wasn't even born yet nope right okay, so guess why it took them so long to figure it out.

Speaker 1:

Because he was dyslexic.

Speaker 2:

He misspelled things.

Speaker 1:

No, yes, I'm fucking take me to college.

Speaker 2:

He misspelled things and he put things out of order, Right Like so the Fucking dumbass Back to being incompetent, right.

Speaker 1:

Right.

Speaker 2:

And so it's weird, because a lot of people think of him as like the greatest serial killer.

Speaker 1:

The most fucking. What is it? A lot of people think of him as like the greatest serial killer the most fucking. What is it the genius of?

Speaker 2:

the fucking siphons. But like, the more that I read about him, the more of an idiot he is, yeah, he's a fucking dumbass. And so this is what it says, this is what the cipher was it would have been like, only for like.

Speaker 1:

No, I'm not going to say it. So this is what it says.

Speaker 2:

Cipher the 408 symbol. Cypher it says I hope you're having lots of fun trying to catch me. I'm not afraid of the gas chamber because it will send me to paradise. So that's what he put that's it and there's a couple of more ciphers that we haven't figured out, but I'm sure he misspelled worse and that's why we haven't gotten those. But we probably will, right. So what we know of? Oh, there's one other, so two other incidences that we know of for sure. One of them he flags this lady down. Who's driving?

Speaker 2:

and he tells her your tire's wobbling, and so she pulls over and he goes, let me fix it for you, and he loosens the lug nuts on her tire right so she takes off, and now it really is wobbly and he's like you know what? I'll give you a ride. Right, I'll give you a ride, a ride to wherever you need to go. So her and her daughter get in his car. Oh shit and he's driving and so she starts to get like this really weird vibe from him.

Speaker 2:

And she notices some things that I guess were talked about in the news about watch out for this guy with the watch and et cetera, and she sees a gun on the floor. I don't know why it's on the floor, but she gets her baby blanket and throws it over his head and jumps out of the car with her kid oh shit.

Speaker 2:

And later we know that that was a zodiac, because he writes to the newspapers again that he did mad, that the lady got away right. And then there is another lady, uh, called donna last that was her name who they never found her body, but she went missing okay and he wrote a cipher to find her body fuck man. And they couldn't decipher it and they've never found it.

Speaker 1:

Doesn't know how to spell.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, and they never found her.

Speaker 1:

So looking at it, can we get like dyslexic people or something? To figure it out?

Speaker 2:

We probably should Right, like do anti-superpowers? Yeah Right, you're broken the same way, maybe? Yeah, so I was going to say that you know he had a problem with spelling and that's been used as evidence with Richard Hoffman and Arthur Lee Allen in the past, but I feel like because I'm not a great speller myself that people that misspell words kind of misspell them in a similar way, true, so I don't know if that's 100%. Like yeah he did it. He spells until with two L's. That's like on the weaker side of evidence for me.

Speaker 1:

But there was also fucking DNA Right.

Speaker 2:

So that's stronger Right, that's stronger, for sure, but I'm just saying like this a lot of people misspell, that's true, and so, um, as far as we know, he killed five people and a few people escaped. He takes credit for 37 murders fuck. Fuck. So since we don't know where this lady's body is, she never was found and confirmed dead. Even this was missing. Who knows if it's 37 or somewhere in between five and 37. And who's to say that the couple that he killed first was the first?

Speaker 2:

yeah could have even gone back, started younger.

Speaker 1:

Maybe he had to learn his way through or build up yeah, that's what I'm saying, like I don't think it was his first for sure. He claimed yeah but I mean, at least he has. He had to start with like some type of attack, like you know, like it wasn't straight of him, like thinking off his brain, like yeah, let me just have someone else tie them up and then fully kill the women and then the men leave them like halfway hanging so I remember.

Speaker 2:

That makes sense. There was a serial killer, and I don't remember which one.

Speaker 1:

It was, off the top of my head and I'm not the smartest one to fucking plan a killing.

Speaker 2:

I'll tell you that allegedly before you come at me but there was a serial killer, and I don't remember which one it was. I think it might have been bergowitz, but when he first tried to kill a person, a woman woman, usually they're women, right Right he tried to stab her and I guess he thought it was going to be like the movies and you like stab her and she just falls dead yeah. And he stabbed her and she started screaming and fighting and like he freaked out.

Speaker 1:

That's what I'm saying and, like I'm sure it's kind of like complicated. It's not like just stabbing the chicken, it's like you have to take it out and stab again, you know.

Speaker 2:

Yeah.

Speaker 1:

I wouldn't know, but I'm saying Allegedly, allegedly.

Speaker 2:

It's not as easy as it looks.

Speaker 1:

Right. It's not like in the movies. It's not from what we've heard from serial killers Right.

Speaker 2:

You know, like the gypsy rose right episode where the interview thing was, he was like, yeah, he was like tried stabbing her several times yeah, because there's bones yeah, tissue muscle so I think it was berkowitz who did that, where he stabbed the woman and thought she was just gonna die and fall and and she didn't like, she screamed and fought him off and all this. So then when he started his serial killing his actual serial killing he's a gun and just shot people yeah, you see, like you're not fuck this shit. You know it's too, too messy.

Speaker 1:

Something had to like he built up, yeah, he built up to it, yeah I tend to agree with that. But if he was a cop, he already knew how this shit worked.

Speaker 2:

True too, also true too. So we have some updates.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, what Well.

Speaker 2:

Gypsy Rose.

Speaker 1:

Well, yeah, she's having a girl, right. Yeah, she's having a girl, right.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, she's having a girl and it's not mine allegedly, so the jury's still out, yeah, of whose it is right. So you had mentioned gypsy rose and something. I don't know if I sent it to you, I think it did oh were she jokes no, no, you sent that to me yeah but there was somebody who got a hold of the crime scene photos oh, that's true, man, I didn't open it I didn't either. I didn't I couldn't.

Speaker 1:

I was like no, it's already too much of me talking shit. But me looking at, I was like no, I can't. So I didn't look at him either I didn't put it, I didn't want to put myself through that after the accident. Let's just say yeah I was already going through so much and my brain can't handle so much.

Speaker 2:

I was like no so I went to the comments okay to see if I was gonna actually see that, yeah, like am I gonna go through this? And I went through the comments.

Speaker 1:

No, it was too much, they were bad I only read like three different comments and it was like it's horrifying how all the blood was, like it did like a hundred percent, like it is real, like you could see the flesh.

Speaker 2:

I was like, oh hell, no, yeah, no, no yeah, and I forget that you're you're queasy as it is yeah, so, yeah, so, yeah, no yeah, I didn't know if you were going to look. I didn't, but I knew I was not going to look. No, but if you're out there and you want to watch, they're there.

Speaker 1:

Apparently. Yeah, they're still out there.

Speaker 2:

And is there any other updates?

Speaker 1:

No, no updates.

Speaker 2:

So, as far as the Keith, I don't know if we should say it or not. Man, I took a different route.

Speaker 1:

Bianca's losing points Way far off, way far off.

Speaker 2:

Losing points. I think technically I'm the lead now I don't know.

Speaker 1:

It's weird, like I didn't do anything, but I'm in the lead now. I don't know it's weird, like I didn't do anything, but I'm in the lead now. No, yeah, you took. You took a step, a few steps.

Speaker 2:

The score is now zero to negative one, and I'm winning, so no, but yeah, it's not.

Speaker 1:

I'm way off the scale, guys. I'll tell you that it's not my thing anymore so it never was my thing.

Speaker 2:

There we go, but it looks like you're taking the lead I am in the lead and I will take it for now. That's it for today. Yep, I hope you enjoyed the episode. Follow us on all of our socials. We're going to try to be more active on TikTok.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, we're trying to figure that one out.

Speaker 2:

I'm trying to get Bianca to take over it, but we'll see how that goes. We will see you all next week.

Speaker 1:

Bye guys.
